brownstones,
tree-lined streets
trendy little cafes..

..signs of babylife.
i love it.
while walking past this little alley-street,i heard what i decided was a mockingbird.
im not sure what one sounds like, but
how can one readily identify it
if it sounds like something else?
something was just off about it,
irregular.
i felt sorta mockingbirdish here.
(not enough graffiti, i guessed.)
that was soon remedied as i crossed the bridge on my way home. weird, impish little cartoons were posted up everywhere.

"...man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those who walk on all-fours, who, because of his 'divine spiritual and intellectual development,' has become the most vicious animal of all!"

this reads:
pow pow!
aint no place
like home
above it: 'reality'
(how apt.)
no matter what side of the bridge, the same problems threaten to follow.

but! per usual,

there are always flowers

(even unborn ones)
